Toronto teen sexually assaulted on street in broad daylight

Toronto - A young girl, 15, was sexually assaulted Wednesday afternoon right on the street in a busy area of Toronto. The girl was forced to the ground by the suspect in broad daylight with no witnesses coming forward.

Between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon a young teenage girl was forced to the ground and sexually assaulted while walking in the Victoria Park Avenue and Danforth Avenue area. The suspect fled the scene after the attack and the victim called the police. Constable Tony Vella said during a phone interview that the the attack was completely unexpected. "No witnesses have come forward about this attack." The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, 5'11", with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a reddish-brown baseball cap.
