Children saviour drowned in flood

Islamabad - In Pakistan's flooded area, a man drowned in a big pond while trying to rescue two children from deep water at the village Chaanda in Tehsil Halimzai.
In Pakistan's flooded area, a man drowned in a big pond while trying to rescue two children from deep water at village Chaanda in Tehsil Halimzai.
According to details, the two children, Saifullah and Naveed Khan, slipped into the pond where they had gone to fetch water. Seeing them in trouble, a nearby standing man, Sher Alam s/o Sher Afzal, jumped into the water to save them and succeeded in saving both of them; but unfortunately, he his lost life because of inhaling a large amount of water.
Local people shifted the body of the deceased, who was stated to be an Afghan national, to a nearby hospital. They have appealed to the government to give assistance to his family.
