Survivor Nicaragua is a generational confrontation

By Richard Mccallum     Aug 9, 2010 in Entertainment
When it premieres on CBS September 15 Survivor:Nicaragua will have two teams; 10 will be over 40 and 10 will be under 30-and all of them will compete for the ultimate prize of $1 million.
Who will be the biggest rat...er I mean... Survivor?
This is the Survivor franchise's second old vs. new young challenge, and that is not the only twist in this new season.
This season marks the debut of "The Medallion of Power".
"The Medallion of Power is designed to give you power at challenges"explains host Jeff Probst.
"And our job is to make sure that he advantage is enough to tempt you-not so much that it is a landslide, but enough that you go;"I'm not sure we should take it. Maybe we should and maybe we shouldn't "
"This season we have made changes to the hidden immunity idol. The only way you're gonna find it is to dicipher these cryptic visual clues. So it's a bit like a visual riddle, and the audience gets to play along."
