Hong Kong - Filmmakers in Hong Kong have announced that they are set to begin shooting on the first 3D pornographic film. The film, which is based on The Carnal Prayer Mat, an erotic Chinese book, has a $3.2 million budget.
According to Agence-France Presse, filmmakers in Hong Kong have announced the shooting of the first 3D pornographic movie called “3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy.” The porno is set to be released in May and has created a lot of buzz in the Asian, European and United States markets.
The film is loosely based on classical Chinese erotic literature, “The Canal Prayer Mat.” The film’s premise surrounds the story of a young man who realizes his wife is the love of his life and has a lot of “orgies, swinging and some very graphic sex scenes.”
“We are almost closing deals with some markets including Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and some pay TV channels in Hong Kong,” said producer Stephen Shiu.
Short News reports that the film will star Japanese actresses Saori Hara and Yukiko Suo.
This won’t be the last 3D porno though. It has been announced, reports Thaindian, that renowned Italian director, Tinto Bass, will remake the 1979 erotic film “Caligula.” Digital Journal reported in June of the Hustler pornographic spoof of Avatar called “This Ain't Avatar XXX 3D.”
