Singer Jessica Simpson said that she is at peace with her body during an interview with Lucky Magazine. The star has also said that while she did talk to executives about American Idol they haven't contacted her again.
The young star known for her curves understands that “we obsess over
looking like the perfect Barbie type, and that’s not always what’s beautiful.” She also said that "making peace" with your body is what beauty is.
Simpson, who is dating former NFL star Eric Johnson, also has admitted to talking with the folks at Idol but hasn't heard back from them.
“I mean, I don’t think so. I haven’t gotten a phone call,” she says. "I'm not a very judgmental person, so I could probably stick my foot in my mouth a couple times. I am a singer and I do know if it's going to actually happen for someone or not,” she added.
