article imageBreastfeeding should be made world law according to supermodel

By Laura Trowbridge     Aug 2, 2010 in Health
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen said a law should be made to force mothers to breastfeed their babies for the initial six months.
According to Telegraph, the Brazilian supermodel delivered her first child, a boy, by natural childbirth at her home in Boston last December "after meditating throughout her eight-hour labor."
This world's highest-paid supermodel was back to modeling swimwear only six weeks after giving birth to her and husband New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's first child together.
Bundchen, 30, said: ''I think breastfeeding really helped (me keep my figure).
''Some people here (in the US) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'
''I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.''
