Rocker Bret Michaels ran into trouble with the law Wednesday night in DeKalb, Indiana, when police found marijuana and another unidentified controlled substance on Michaels' two tour buses.
According to the
Fort-Wayne News-Sentinel, Michaels and his crew were pulled over by a DeKalb County Sheriff's deputy on Interstate 69 for a "lighting violation", because a trailer connected to one of the buses did not have a license plate light. Police had dogs search the tour buses and found marijuana as well as an unidentified controlled substance.
Police made no arrests but charges have been forwarded to the DeKalb County Prosecutor's Office. Both buses were allowed to continue on to their destination.
Michaels, former front-man of rock band Poison and the 2010 winner of the “Celebrity Apprentice 3,” is currently on his “Roses & Thorns” tour in the U.S.
