Man wears clown trousers and fake breasts to rob bank

Adding another to a string of bizarre bank robberies, a man in the Pittsburgh area held up a bank while wearing a blonde wig, fake breasts under a sweater and clown trousers.

The Washington Post reported that Swissvale police said 48-year-old Dennis Hawkins, of North Braddock, used a toy BB gun he had shoplifted to hold up a bank in Swissvale. After robbing the bank he got into a car with a woman. The woman took her keys, got out and alerted police. When they arrived he was still sitting in the car, covered in red dye from an exploding packet which has been placed in the money. Hawkins is being held on $230,000 bail. Just a few days ago a man held up a New York bank while dressed as Darth Vader. This was shortly after another man held up a couple of banks in New York while holding a bouquet of flowers.
