Hartford - According to Republican Connecticut Senatorial candidate, Peter Schiff, the one thing that opponent Linda McMahon and Incumbent Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd have in a common is Rahm Emmanuel.
Peter Schiff, President of Euro Pacific Capital and Connecticut Republican Senatorial candidate, has identified himself as the anti-establishment candidate and has built a reputation of not following in line with the Republicans and Democrats.
In a press release e-mailed to Digital Journal, the author of “The Little Book of Bull Moves in a Bear Market” and “Crash Proof 2.0” takes on Senator Chris Dodd, Republican Senatorial candidate Linda McMahon and President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel.

“What do Chris Dodd and Linda McMahon have in common? Rahm Emmanuel,” states Schiff. “Yes, I do mean President Obama's chief of staff. Or if you rather, the former Congressman who inherited his seat from former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and received the most campaign contributions from hedge funds, private equity firms and the larger securities/investment industry among candidates for the House in 2008.”
According to Schiff, Emmanuel received $320,000 for a “no-show seat” on the board of Freddie Mac during Dodd’s days as Senator. The former Illinois Congressman also received $5,000 in campaign contributions during the last ten years from Linda McMahon.
He adds that Washington “isn’t a place to make bank, nor is it a place of entertainment.”
Schiff concludes by asking readers the question: “So who will it be? Linda McMahon and 6 or more years of Dodd's corrupt, economic-crushing agenda?”
