article imageVampire causes Colorado woman to plunge SUV into canal

By Gemma Fox     Jul 11, 2010 in World
Car accidents are common and the causes of them are usually known factors but for one woman in Colorado, the sight of the undead was enough to make her plunge her SUV into a canal.
The woman was driving along a dirt road in Colorado's Grand Valley region on a Sunday night a couple of weeks ago when she saw a vampire standing in front of her in the middle of the road.
Startled by the sight of the undead blood-sucker in front of her, the woman slammed her SUV into reverse and headed straight into a canal.
The woman was not injured and her husband came to collect her from the scene but there was no sign of the vampire.
Neither was there any trace of the vampire when the SUV was retrieved from the canal.
Police said they believed that neither drugs or alcohol were involved in this incident.
The vampire has not yet been traced.
