Teen pop star Justin Bieber has declared that he’ll remain a virgin till he finds the right partner. His mom says he wants to “stay pure.”
The 16-year-old’s intentions have been splashed across several newspapers and websites, and, according to the Hamilton Spectator, the Canadian signer and musician “has pledged to continue treating women with respect and has hinted he plans to remain a virgin until he meets the perfect girl for him.”
The paper quotes Bieber’s mother, Pattie Malette, as saying: “He’s expressed his desire to stay pure, and honour women, and treat women with respect. So hopefully that stays valid.”
Bieber has recently become the most searched person on the entire Internet (see video above). His journey to superstardom was assured after his successful postings to YouTube were spotted by the man who is now his manager, Scooter Braun.
Bieber’s first single, “One Time” (2009), reached the top 30 in more than 10 countries. His debut album My World, was released in November last year, giving Bieber the highest debut by a new artist during that year.
He was also the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album make it to the Billboard Hot 100.
Bieber’s current My World tour is his first official headlining tour. Bieber told the Houston Chronicle recently, when asked about the tour: “I want to show that I love to perform. There are going to be some cool tricks, some electronic things that haven’t been seen before, for sure.”
