Chicago - A Chicago woman is planning to start a lawsuit against McDonald's after the customer allegedly found a bone or bone fragments in her cheeseburger in 2008.
Imagine opening up a McDonald’s cheeseburger and biting into a bone, which would cause serious damage to your teeth. Allegedly this is what happened to Chicago customer Millicent Brown when she ordered a double cheeseburger, according to the Chicago Tribune.
In July 2008, Brown bit into a bone or bone fragments in a cheeseburger, which forced her to undergo a root canal, bone graft and implant and tooth extraction, reports My State Line.
This prompted her to sue the McDonald’s giant and McEssy Investment Corporation, which owns and operates the McDonald’s in a Wal-Mart. Brown is asking for more than $50,000.
“We take these matters seriously,” said McDonald’s spokesperson Danya Proud. “We are looking into these allegations.”
