Two-time winners Uruguay look set to take on the only remaining African team, Ghana, in the quarterfinals of the World Cup on Friday afternoon.
Uruguay go into the game as group A winners after defeating South Korea 2-1 in the previous round. They are favourites to progress against Ghana's Black Stars.
Uruguay look to continue their unbeaten run but will be missing Diego Godin after he suffered a thigh injury in the defeat of Korea; Victorino will substitute for the injured defender. Coach Tabarez has also brought Alvaro Fernandez into his starting line-up for midfielder Pereira.
Ghana will hope to have Gyan and Boateng fit for the clash with both players missing training sessions this week. Sulley Muntari is also hoping for his first start for the Black Starts with Dede Ayew suspended along with Jonathan Mensah
