Toronto - A British man was arrested Tuesday for impersonating a peace officer at Pearson International Airport after filming the G20 Summit security area.
The suspect was approached on June 24 when he was filming at Front Street and York Street in Toronto. The area the man was filming was of the G20 Summit security fence.
When the man was approached by a security officer and was asked for ID he stated he was not carrying identification because he was working undercover as a peace officer.
A warrant was later issued for the suspect by the Toronto Police Service.
On Tuesday Charlie Veitch, 29, of England has been charged with impersonating a peace officer as he attempted to board a plane at Pearson International Airport. He is due in court on Wednesday.
