Toronto - A lot of things happened during the G20 riots in Toronto but one unidentified man jumped off a building when he was standing on top of a music store. He later jumped on to electric wires and let go to "join the fun."
During the fiasco on Saturday in downtown Toronto, one man jumped off the top of Steve’s Music Store on Queen Street West. Bystanders watched and took photographs; however, a couple of people talked him out of it and encouraged him to “join the fun.”
He decided to come down but instead of climbing down calmly, the unidentified man jumped on the electric wire cables and swung back and forth. Finally the man fell down with spectators coming immediately to the man’s aid.
An hour later, the man was seen again in the same vicinity but was being arrested by police. The individual was shirtless and bloodied. It took about eight people to arrest him.
This Digital Journalist was in the middle of the incident, standing at a corner talking on the cellphone. The group of policemen started physically pushing me and telling me to “move back, get out of the way!”
