Suzanne Pilley: Wife of ex-lover detained and charged

Edinburgh - Police investigating suspected murder of 38-year old Suzanne Pilley have now arrested and charged Andrea Gilroy, wife of Suzanne's ex-lover David Gilroy.

Police charged the 42-year old midwife with attempting to pervert the course of justice following a search of the Edinburgh property she lives in with her husband and two children. The arrest follows a Thursday court appearance of her husband, David Gilroy, who is charged with the murder of Suzanne Pilley. David Gilroy was released on bail following Thursday's court appearance. Suzanne went missing after arriving at her office building on May 4 2010. A missing persons hunt quickly changed into a murder investigation as evidence came to the attention of investigating officers. David Gilroy, Suzanne's former lover and colleague, was detained, arrested and charged on with her murder on June 23.
