Berlin - Ingenious, rebellious, passionate: that is how some would call the genial art of the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso hosted at the ExpoNuevo building in Berlin.
ExpoNuevo GmbH, located in the center of Berlin, opened the exhibition dedicated to the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.
"The Picasso Story" shows three ceramics of Picasso editions, combined with originally drawings and graphics. More than 100 original photographs by Edward Quinn reveal many private and intimate aspects of the artist.
"The goal is to take a unique artist and make him accessible to a contemporary public," explain the organizers, Dominicus Rohde, Luxembourg (Europa Museum and Schengen Peace Foundation), Dr. Michael Schäbitz (Ausstellungsagentur exhibeo), Berlin, and Prof. Dr. Dr. Johannes Fox (Verfasser der Enzyklopädie Picassos Welt), Köln. "We have chosen 20th century genius Pablo Picasso. Our basic assumption is that many people lack the necessary historical context to understand a renowned artist like Picasso, which is why we present him within the context of his time."
Interactive features and video clips with renowned Picasso experts complement the unique idea of The Picasso Story.
