It is alleged that the suspect approached the teller at the Kingston Road bank and made a verbal demand for money. The suspect warned the teller that he was armed. After being handed the money he fled the scene. It is also alleged that the suspect committed an additional five robberies in the Toronto area during the past two weeks. The suspect fled in a cab or using the TTC in some of those cases.
Michael Johnson, 42, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of robbery and having a dangerous weapon on June 13.
