As Hollywood Life
reports, one-time U.S. governor Palin spoke with Fox News host Greta Van Sustren recently on a number of topics, including people's seeming obsession with her figure.
Palin said: "To be judged on or to be talked about on appearance — say chest size — it makes me wear layers, it makes me have to waste time figuring out what am I going to wear so that nobody will look at an area that I don’t need them to look at."
Her looks have long been a popular topic, from a fake photograph of her in an American flag bikini and holding an automatic weapon that circulated the internet to these most recent allegations that she has had breast enlargement surgery.
The blog Wonkette
first started raising the implants issue when their writers circulated recent photos of Palin with a white shirt showing what the blog called "her luxury items".
A representative for Palin recently told
US Weekly the boob job rumours are "absolutely ridiculous."
The fiery Alaskan conservative and spokesperson for the burgeoning "Tea Party" movement has been the subject of much media scrutiny since bursting on the scene in 2008 and rising in popularity with conservatives for her frankness while drawing fire from critics for her verbal slips, among other things.
Palin is now a contributor to cable channel Fox News and is set to star in a reality show about her Alaskan life for which she is reportedly going to be paid $1 million per episode.
Hustler also released a pornographic film based on a look-alike character of the then Vice Presidential candidates entitled "Who's Nailin' Palin?"
