Hartford - The President of Euro Pacific Capital and Republican Senatorial candidate for Connecticut's Senate seat, Peter Schiff, recently stated that the American people need to elect a new set of leaders who will not fall to the temptations of Washington.
On Tuesday, the author of “Crash Proof 2.0” and “The Little Book of Bull Moves in a Bear Market,” Peter Schiff, recently stated in a press release e-mailed to Digital Journal that the United States needs leaders, such as himself, who will stop the government from preventing the U.S. economy from improving and restructuring.
The Republican Senatorial candidate explained that “Washington is broken” and the only way to fix it, says Schiff, is to elect brand new leaders “who will not fall victim to the temptations of Washington.” Schiff states that he’s the only person that can get the job done.
Schiff goes onto state that the Republican establishment is keeping him off the ballot because his candidacy is a threat to the Republican leadership base due to the fact that “I won’t be their puppet.”
“As Senator, I will treat taxpayer dollars like they are my own. That means no more frivolous earmarks, special interest deals or backroom kickbacks.”
In the end, Schiff promises that he would leave Washington after his six years are up because he has “no political ambitions.”
According to the latest Quinnipiac poll, Linda McMahon leads the Republican field with 49 points compared to Rob Simmons’ 23 points and Peter Schiff’s 11 points, reports Pollster.
