Bernie Madoff, who is serving a prison sentence for a a $65 billion Ponzi scheme, has made a bit of a name for himself getting into a scuffle in prison and now sounding off about his victims.
Madoff is serving 150 years for his role in a $65 billion Ponzi scheme, but he recently had some choice words for his victims. Back in March Madoff and another prisoner got into a scuffle where he suffered cuts, bruises and a broken nose, according to Digital Journal.
Now in a verbal interaction between an inmate and Madoff, he was quoted as telling the inmate, "F--- my victims. I carried them for 20 years, and now I'm doing 150 years," according to the Washington Post.
Another inmate lashed out at Madoff saying that stealing from the elderly was, "kind of f---ed up." Madoff simply told the inmate, "Well, that's what I did."
Madoff is currently in a federal prison in Butner, North Carolina.
