San Fernando - California detectives are hunting for the porn movie actor who allegedly killed another actor and injured two others with a samurai sword.
A 34-year-old man is suspected of killing Herbert Wong, known in the porn industry as Tom Dong, with a film prop sword. He fled with the weapon after attacking Wong and two other men who tried to intervene.
Wong died in the hospital after being stabbed in the chest with the samurai sword.
Stephen Hill, an actor in several porn films, is accused of killing Wong, but he has fled the scene of the crime in Van Nuys, Ca., in an SUV and has not been seen since.
According to Sky News, Hill had been living in a San Fernando Valley studio which doubled as a porn movie set for several months before he was asked to move out last week.
Detective Joel Price said: "There was no indication that things were going to get violent, there was nothing that provoked this attack. But at some point Stephen Hill chose to arm himself with what can be best described as a sword. He then used that sword against those three victims."
It is reported that Hill worked on the porn movie firm Ultima's website and was featured in some of its films.
Hill appeared in films under the name Steve Driver. Internet Adult Film Database lists 13 credits for him, including some fetish films for Ultima and other porn companies.
Steve Nelson of Adult Industry News said he had met Hill at social gatherings.
"He seemed like an OK guy who was trying very hard to get recognised and get his name out there," Nelson said.
Police said Hill was on probation for carrying a concealed weapon in another unrelated case.
