Needles found in Pillers Polish Sausage in Toronto

Toronto - The Toronto Police Service is warning the public that there have been three cases of food tampering involving Piller's Polish Sausage.
Since May 2010 police have been working on three separate food tampering cases dealing with Piller's Polish Sausage. In each case a needle was found embedded in the sausage by customers after purchase.
Two of the products were brought at the No Frills store at 372 Pacific Avenue and one at 2187
Bloor Street West.
If you believe that a meat product has been tampered with please retain the product, the receipt and contact your local police or the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 416−665−5049.
