Child Actor Gary Coleman Passes Away

Gary Coleman, child actor of "Diffr'ent Strokes" died today at approximately 12:00 p.m. after being taken off of life support.

Gary Coleman died today at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, according to The Insider. The former child actor, best known for his role as Arnold Jackson in the hit sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes", had been in hospital care since Wednesday night and unconscious since later Thursday. Family members were with the 42-year old Coleman today when he was removed from life support and passed away. The 4'8" star, whose personal life has been a source of tabloid fodder for the past decade, was initially hospitalized after a reported fall resulted in head injury.
