By Michael Bearak     May 27, 2010 in Entertainment
This week news was revealed that the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson was taped negotiating a deal for money in order to have access to her former husband, Prince Andrew.
Sarah Ferguson married Prince Andrew in 1986, and the marriage lasted just six year when they filed for divorce in 1992, the divorce was finalized four years later than that. The UK's News of the World newspaper posted the video tape back on Sunday.
Immediately Ferguson, the Duchess of York, posted an apology saying, "I very deeply regret the situation and the embarrassment caused. It is true that my financial situation is under stress, however, that is no excuse for a serious lapse in judgment and I am very sorry that this has happened."
She asked for half-a-million pounds to gain access to Prince Andrew.
Now she is going to have another opportunity to discuss her lapse in judgement, this time with Oprah. The Duchess of York will appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on the June 1st edition, this according to a press release from Harpo Productions, the producers of the "Oprah Winfrey Show."
