Friends For Life Bike Rally held a bike check-up Thursday at Toronto's Scotia Plaza building in advance of Toronto Bike Month.
The event was supporting Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA) and bringing awareness to the Friends for Life Bike Rally. The Friends for Life Bike Rally will start on July 25 in Toronto and end six days later in Montreal. The event has 350 bikers who are raising money to provide services for men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS. Each rider raises $2,200 for the organization.
The bikers will camp for all but one day. The bikers range from professional cyclists to inexperienced. They often training rides to get ready for the 120 km daily ride.
