Detroit - Later this week Detroit, Michigan, will be feeling a preview of summer heat. How hot will it get and how long can Detroit expect to see rising temperatures?
Metro Detroit meteorologists are expecting that temperatures will continue to be on the rise by the end of this week then dropping back into the low eighties by Memorial Day weekend.
According to Detroit meteorologist Andrew Humphrey of local 4's just weather,
temperatures will start out in the mid eighties today, Monday, May 24, 2010, and gradually climb to eighty seven degrees hitting ninety degrees in some places by Thursday.
Detroit has not reached these temperatures in the month of May since 2007. Experts are predicting that Metro Detroit will be facing a hot summer making up for a mild summer they had in 2009.
