Toronto - Celebrating 25 years of the Blizzard, Dairy Queen was at Yonge-Dundas Square today giving away a free treat. People stood in line to get their Dairy Queen Blizzard.
Birthdays are special days. For Dairy Queen's Blizzard, it's a really big day for fans of the frozen treat. All across North America, DQ is putting on a party with free Blizzards given to those who made Dairy Queen a top ice cream spot.
A total of 12,000 free Blizzards were to be given away at Toronto's Dundas Square Tuesday during lunch time when the Blizzard Mobile came by. With music blaring, the square was rocking with happy people enjoying their Blizzards.
Donations were also being accepted for DQ's charity The Children's Miracle Network.
