Bruce Willis is reprising his role as the gritty New York detective in the fifth installment of "Die Hard" but he says he wants the movie to take place out of the United States.
According to Worst Previews, Bruce Willis announced in February that “Die Hard 5” would likely go into production next year and now that seems like a possibility.
Skip Woods, screenwriter of “Hitman” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to pen the fifth “Die Hard” film; however, no details of the plot have been revealed but Willis says he wants the film to take place outside of the States.
Former Fox executive Alex Young will be producing the fifth installment, reports Movie Web.
Hollywood News notes that the “Die Hard” franchise has garnered $1.13 billion at the global box office and the last film “Live Free or Die Hard” generated $383.5 million worldwide.
