Toronto - Toronto Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a man, 79, on a Toronto Transit Commission subway train near Chester station Saturday evening.
The victim was asked by a man seated beside him on the subway for change. When the victim told the suspect he didn't have any change another suspect asked him again for change.
The victim stood up and attempted to activate the Passenger Assistance Alarm, but couldn't reach it. At that point the suspects grabbed the victim taking his wallet. The victim fought the suspects while other patrons on the train looked on without assisting according to Constable Wendy Drummond, Public Information.
The suspects exited the train at Chester Station with the victim in pursuit. Cops found the wallet on Danforth Avenue.
Both suspects are described as black, 20, 5'8", wearing all black. There was a design or writing on the chest of one or both suspects' jackets.
