Toronto - New Democrat Party candidate Matthew Kellway was at Coxwell Subway Station in Toronto Tuesday morning to talk to residents about taking back his riding in the Beaches-East York region.
Kellway was talking to local residents of the Beaches Tuesday morning outside of Coxwell Subway Station and handing out his business card so that people could get in contact with him to discuss their issues.
Kellway wants to see urban issues come to the forefront in Canadian politics. In Toronto that includes moving transit and affordable housing forward. Kellway is also concerned about immigrants and will work for them. He believes that respect should be given to the credentals that they come to Canada with.
"I'm suggesting that we recover our ambition to do great things in Canada again."
Kellway is the Chair of the Parent Council at his children's school and wants to see better funding for education and daycare.
