Daughter of former U.S. President Johnson hospitalized

Dallas - The youngest daughter of former United States President Lyndon Baines Johnson, Luci Baines Johnson, has been hospitalized due to a rare autoimmune disorder that affects the nervous system.
Luci Baines Johnson’s, the daughter of former President Johnson, personal physician, Dr. Dudley Youman, said on Saturday that the 62-year-old is being treated at the Mayo Clinic after being flown in by air ambulance to the clinic in Rohcester, Minnesota on Friday.
The doctors suspect that she will remain in the neuro-intensive care unit for a rare autoimmune disorder that affects the nervous system called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), according to the Associated Press.
On Wednesday, reports All Headline News, Johnson was admitted to Seton Medical Center Austin after complaining of extreme muscle weakness but had been “in excellent health prior to that,” according to Youman.
CNN reports that her sister, Lynda Bird Johnson Robb, and Luci’s husband, Ian Turpin, were at the facility with other family relatives.
