article imagePlanned Parenthood Promotes Non-Disclosure of HIV in Youth Sex

By Johnny Simpson     Apr 11, 2010 in Lifestyle
In the past, I have reported here on Planned Parenthood's unconscionable cover-up of thousands of statutory rapes and mass-marketing of abortions to the black community in America. Today, we can add the advocacy of youth sex sans disclosure of HIV status.
Last year, I reported here in-depth at Digital Journal on Planned Parenthood's routine cover-up of statutory rapes and mass-marketing of abortions to the black community in what MLK's niece, Dr. Alveda King, and many other prominent leaders of the black community in America described as black genocide.
Today, via Gateway Pundit and CNS News, we can add to that list of crimes and social horrors Planned Parenthood's advocacy of HIV-infected sex between youths sans disclosure of HIV status of the infected to the uninfected.
In Planned Parenthood's newly released Healthy, Happy and Hot guide to sex for HIV-infected youths, the only passages you really need to read are these:
This guide is here to support your sexual pleasure and health, and to help you develop strong intimate relationships. It explores how your human rights and sexual well-being are related and suggests strategies to help you make decisions about dating, relationships, sex and parenthood. It explores the rights of young people living with HIV to:
• express and enjoy their sexuality (page 3)
decide if, when, and how to disclose their HIV status (page 5)
Young people living with HIV may feel that sex is just not an option, but don’t worry — many young people living with HIV live healthy, fun, happy and sexually fulfilling lives. You can too, if you want to! Things get easier (and sex can get even better) as you become more comfortable with your status.
From page 5:
"Some countries have laws that say people living with HIV must tell their sexual partner(s) about their status before having sex, even if they use condoms or only engage in sexual activity with a low risk of giving HIV to someone else.
"These laws violate the rights of people living with HIV by forcing them to disclose or face the possibility of criminal charges.
"Sharing your HIV status is called disclosure. Your decision about whether to disclose may change with different people and situations. You have the right to decide if, when, and how to disclose your HIV status."
That last passage is in direct violation of US laws which require the disclosure of HIV status between sexual partners. In some locales, the infected partners can even be charged with assault with intent to murder, and have been. It also brings to mind actor-director and gay advocate Harvey Fierstein's July 2003 "The Culture of Disease" oped in the New York Times, in which Mr. Fierstein railed against the glorification of sex between HIV-infected and uninfected partners. At that time, AIDS infection was thought of by some in the gay community as cool, particularly among uninfected young gays who actively sought infection at the time.
Last year, Planned Parenthood received nearly $300M in federal funding, primarily facilitated by liberal Democrats in Congress. It is bad enough that Planned Parenthood has covered up thousands of statutory rapes and mass-marketed abortions to the black community in the past. Today, the organization has crossed the line of legality into direct advocacy of criminal behavior. That is not opinion. That is fact.
Please contact the White House, your Senators and Representatives in Congress, the National Institute of Health and the Department of Health and Human Services and make them aware of this incredible situation. The advocacy of sex between AIDS-infected youths and uninfected partners without disclosure of HIV status is not only immoral, it is illegal. It must be stopped in its tracks, and as soon as possible.
