Gaza - Israeli jets carried out at least 13 overnight airstrikes, while firing at several different miitant group targets. The raids caused at least three children to be injured.
In response to a homemade rocket attack by Gaza militants earlier this week, Israeli warplanes fired at several different targets in the southern region of the Gaza Strip, which injured between three and five children when debris hit their faces, according to Xinhua.
Witnesses close to the situation say that three air-to-ground missiles were launched against targets in the western part of the southern region in the Gaza Strip, while Hamas security forces said the Israeli jets targeted areas that belonged to Palestinian militant groups in the towns of Rafah, Khan Younis and Gaza City, reports Press TV.
Four of the airstrikes occurred in the town of Khan Younis but most of the Israeli missiles hit in non-residential areas.
At the present time, there have been no reports of fatalities, notes the Palestine Telegraph.
