Welterweight UFC champion St. Pierre took down England's Dan Hardy in 5 rounds of mixed martial arts mastery. Carwin also pounded away a KO victory against Mir in the first round in the co-main event.
10 take downs, 2 vicious submission attempts and 5 rounds of relentless wrestling declared St. Pierre victorious in a unanimous decision against Dan "the Outlaw" Hardy.
Georges St. Pierre (20-2) is undefeated in 25 rounds in the Octagon but thinks he can be better.
"I'm not happy with myself. I made a lot of technical mistakes", said the 28 year-old Montreal, Canada native.
Hardy (23-7) could not assert his striking skills as St. Pierre smothered him with, what many consider, the best wrestling skills in the UFC.
The final decision was 50-43, 50-44, 50-45.

In the co-main event, Shane Carwin (12-0) made quick work of Frank Mir (13-5). Devastating uppercuts from Carwin dropped Mir. On the ground, Carwin "let it go" with hammering fists, forcing the referee to stop the bout at 3:48 in the first round.
The impressive fighting skills of Carwin, who has 12 straight first round victories, puts him in a highly anticipated matchup against heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.
