By KJ Mullins     Mar 24, 2010 in Crime
Ajax - An Ontario teen headed for school got stabbed in the head yesterday, the latest incident in an ongoing dispute over a girl.
Yesterday the victim was headed for J. Clarke Richardson school in Ajax when a car pulled up beside him. One teen exited the teen-filled vehicle with a hammer. The victim managed to avoid being struck by the weapon. A fight then started between the suspect and the victim. The suspect pulled out a knife using it to stab the victim in the head repeatedly. As the victim fell to the ground the suspect kicked him in the face.
As the suspect fled in the car another friend of the victim's drove by and took him to hospital where police were notified. The victim was treated and released.
The ongoing dispute appears to be over a female.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with new information is asked to contact Det. Waters of the West Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2542.
