After her recent public announcement that she was aiming to reach 450kg (992 lbs.) in just two years, the world's fattest mum, Donna Simpson, says that she has now received death threats.
Donna Simpson recently told Entertainment Tonight that her weight-gain goals had provoked extreme and alarming reactions in a number of people.
"Since we started this I've got death threats: 'If I ever see you, I'm killing you,’" She told the show.
"That bothers me .... it bothers me that somebody would feel that way."
The New Jersey mother of two already weighs 273kg and aims to take in six times the average amount of calories each day. That's 12,000 calories per day to accomplish her ambitions.
Ms Simpson says she is proud of the way she looks and especially likes her massive stomach which she called "the centrepiece of my fatness."
Ms Simpson told ET interviewer Diane Dimond, "I feel very sexy."
Despite only being able to move roughly 20 feet before she has to rest, the 42-year-old said someday she wanted to go to the beach and show off her body in a bikini.
