The Worcester Wolves put in an impressive performance at Worcester University to beat Guildford Heat by 111 points to 77.
Worcester coach Paul James faced his old team for the first time since taking over the reigns at the Wolves in January, and he said "we definitely saved our best for this game, we were outstanding offensively and defensively".
The Wolves took the lead in the second quarter and had a 21 point lead heading into the final quarter, they kept their charge over the Heat going taking their total into three figure for the game.
Daniel Gilbert put in a good performance for the Wolves against one of his former clubs, coming back from injury after missing out in Friday nights defeat against Sheffield, Gilbert hit 32 points that included seven threes; Kastytis Normantas also put in an impressive performance taking 31 points in the game " he was the quickest player on court" coach James said, Harry Disy and Rod Gilbert back for the game and both put in good performances.
"It was a fantastic atmosphere and a great victory" Paul James added "I am very pleased with the teams performance"
The Wolves now move within one place of the play-off positions and are only four points behind Worthing Thunder.
