Dogs are known to chew on things like shoes, phone cords, stuffed animals and even furniture but have you ever heard of a dog trying chewing on a car?
While running radar in Chattanooga, Tennessee a patrol car was attacked by a dog. Officer Clayton Holmes was sitting in his patrol car when all of a sudden it started shaking. When he exited his car to investigate the cause, he saw that there was a dog chewing on the patrol car. By the time that the dog was done, he had chewed up the entire front bumper and two tires.
The dog chewed on two cars that were passing by and also the patrol car belonging to another officer that had responded to the incident. The officers tried using pepper spray and a taser on the dog to get him to stop but nothing worked. McKamey Animal Center sent some of their people out to help with the situation and they were able to catch the dog and two other dogs that were with it.
The dogs belonged to Mann's Welding and are normally kept in a fenced area but apparently found a way out. The owners were cited and all three dogs were removed from the property.
