A serial thief in Seoul, South Korea has been caught with over 1,200 expensive but stolen shoes in his warehouse, ready for resale.
The 59-year-old man known only as "Park" has been taking advantage of the Korean custom of removing outdoor shoes before going inside buildings.
His favorite place to steal shoes was at funeral homes. He would act like he was one of the mourners, remove his shoes, and then leave with more expensive shoes instead.
Police caught him when he was stealing three pairs of shoes worth more than £1,000.
After raiding his warehouse the police found over 1,200 pairs of stolen shoes the man was trying to resell.
The victims of the stolen shoes are being asked to come and reclaim their prized footwear.
