NCAAM: Pittsburgh Beats Robert Morris

The Pittsburgh Panthers are working hard for a final four run and stayed on track by defeating a formal opponent in Robert Morris.
Robert Morris traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to face the Panthers of Pittsburgh. The Robert Morris Colonials came in to Peterson Events Center on a nine game winning streak and Pittsburgh wanted to stay in the top 25 as they are on the way out with one more loss.
Pittsburgh and Robert Morris kept it close in the first half as the Colonials did everything they could to challenge the Panthers. The Panthers finished the half on a 7-1 run to end the half and led 39-33 at halftime. The Panthers wanted to prove to the NCAA voting committee that they are still able to put away teams and finished off the Colonials with class beating them 77-53.
Robert Morris had four players score in double digits and Pittsburgh had three players score in double digits. Point guard Karon Abraham led the Colonials with 16 points and 2 rebounds and Pittsburgh's point guard Ashton Gibbs led all scores with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
