The American people are mad as hell and they're not going to take anymore of it, at least according to a new poll. Three-quarters of Americans are currently angry at government policies being instituted.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey suggests that 75 per cent of Americans are at least somewhat angry at the government’s policies that are being instituted at the present moment, which is up four points from a similar poll in November.
Only 19 per cent of respondents are not angry at the government’s policies, which is down eight points from November’s survey. Polling shows that 60 per cent of voters do not believe either Republican or Democratic leaders have a good understanding of what is needed in the United States.
The figures are quite similar to previous polling, notes Rasmussen, conducted since the summer. President of Rasmussen, Scott Rasmussen, stated majority of Americans have the belief “that the political system is broken, that most politicians are corrupt, and that neither major political party has the answers.”
The telephone survey was conducted among 1,000 likely voters between Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 and contains a margin of error +/- 3 percentage points.
