Toronto - On Sunday Glenn Lowe, 30, became the sixth murder victim in Toronto. Lowe died on the front porch of a home on 1562 Jane Street after a late night shooting.
The call came into police dispatch at 11:12 pm Sunday night. Officers arrived to see Glenn Lowe laying in a pool of blood on the front porch already dead.
Detective Sergeant Dan Sheppard said that Lowe had no fixed address or family in the area, although he did know the person living at the Jane Street residence where he was shot.
"He had no fixed address but had plently of places to stay. He was not a homeless person living on the streets."
The murder is not thought to be gang related. At this time Sheppard said that the shooting does not appear to be a random one.
At this time there are no suspects in custody.
