Port-au-prince - After being devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake one month ago, Haiti was, once again, hit by a moderate 4.6 magnitude earthquake.
On Thursday, the region of Haiti was rocked by a moderate magnitude-4.6 earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake’s depth was measured at 6.2 miles and was located 30 miles west of Port-Au-Prince.
The Caribbean nation has been hit by a lot of earthquakes since the massive quake nearly one month ago. Seismologists have warned that Haiti could experience a lot more minor earthquakes, such as Thursday’s, but could also devastated by a large 6.0, or greater, earthquake in the next little while.
Haiti’s quake occurred on the same day as Indonesia when it was hit by another 4.5 magnitude earthquake. Indonesia has been hit by dozens of earthquakes over the last two weeks.
