A psilocybin (mushroom) grow operation was busted by the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Unit on Wednesday. Three individuals face a number of charges.
Police discovered the grow-op after an investigation. A search warrant was issued Wednesday for a home in the 200 block of Avenue G South.
Inside the home, police found about 100 jars containing mushrooms in various stages of growth. There was a small amount of cannabis also found at the location.
Two men, aged 23 and 21, and a woman, 19, were arrested. They are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and cultivation of a controlled substance.
A minor, 17, was also at the home and taken into custody.
The suspects will appear in court Thursday.
