The band The Scorpians announced that they will be breaking up opting for retirement. The announcement was made Sunday but all hope is not lost.
The German band, The Scorpions who had hits like "Rock You Like a Hurricane" has been around in one form or another for over 40 years.
Still, Sunday their website posted a message that the band will be breaking up. The message was simple, they want to end the Scorpions on a high note.
The end isn't imminent though as the band has a final landing coming out, "Sting in the Tail." The band feels this is the best album that they have ever released.
The band is also getting ready to begin a 3-year world tour.
The current lineup consists of Rudolf Schenker (who was a founding member of the group), Klaus Meine, Matthias Jabs, Pawel Maciwoda, and James Kottak.
