A plane was diverted to Philadelphia Airport from LaGuardia Airport on Thursday after a passenger mistakenly thought a religious item was a bomb.
The United States Air flight from LaGuardia to Louisville, Kentucky.
It was diverted after a passenger became alarmed by a Jewish man who put on phylacteries, a religious item that observant Jews strap on their arms and heads.
The suspected man was participating in morning prayers.
Officer Christine O'Brien, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia police Department, told Reuters, "Someone on the plane construed it as some kind of device."
According to Fox News, "A law enforcement official says the man questioned is not a threat."
The airport is still opened and flights are not affected by the incident. No charges have been laid.
