article imageNFL: Dolphins hire Mike Nolan

By Michael Bearak     Jan 19, 2010 in Sports
Ex Bronco Defensive Coordinator, Mike Nolan, was fired yesterday and looking for a new job, but today he landed in sunny, warm south Florida with the Miami Dolphins.
The Miami Dolphins hooked Mike Nolan less than a day after he was released from the Denver Broncos. Nolan replaces Paul Pasqualoni, who was fired at the end of the Dolphins system. This past season the Dolphins allowed the 3rd highest amount of points in the AFC at 390 points.
Nolan was the head coach of the 49ers from 2005-2008. He served with four other teams besides the Broncos.
The Dolphins weren't done with the hiring, they also added the Bill Sheridan as their inside linebackers coach. Sheridan was the Giants' defensive coordinator.
