article imageChanning Tatum burned on set of The Eagle of the Ninth

By KJ Mullins     Jan 18, 2010 in Entertainment
Channing Tatum recently talked about his most painful injury. The actor, 29, had to be rushed to hospital after scalding water was poured down his wet suit to warm him during the filming of The Eagle of the Ninth.
The actor had been shooting a battle scene that required him to wear a wetsuit as he stood in freezing water. To keep warm the crew poured mixtures of river water and boiling water down the casts wetsuits. For Tatum that proved to be a dangerous thing when the crew member forgot to dilute the water.
The result had the actor in more pain then he had ever been in as he tried to pull the suit away from his body.
Press Associate reports:
"The more I pulled the suit away, the lower the water went. It just went straight down and pretty much burned the skin off the head of my d**k."
The actor says that he has fully recovered.
