The #20 Pittsburgh Panthers knocked off the #15 Conneticut Huskies in Hartford Tuesday night by 10 points. Brad Wanamaker and Ashton Gibbs led the way for the Panthers.
The Pitt Panthers won another big game, this time knocking off the #15 ranked Connecticut Huskies. The Panthers have now won 7 straight games, including four straight road games dating back to last season and their third straight against UConn.
The Panthers were led Brad Wanamaker and Ashton Gibbs who each scored 19 points in the victory. the Huskies were led by Stanley Robinson who also scored 19 points.
The Huskies have lost 5 straight games against ranked opponents. The Panthers on the other hand have beaten No. 5 Syracuse and Cincinnati as well on the road already this season.
The Panthers have run their record to 14-2 and 4-0 in the Big East while the Huskies have fallen to 11-5 and 2-3 in the Big East.
The Huskies be at Michigan on Sunday the 17th while Pittsburgh will play host to Louisville on Saturday the 16th.
